Reading Local: Atlanta

Hi, folks, and welcome!

My name is John, and I’m the new blogger here in Atlanta for Reading Local. Reading Local is designed to connect you with events, readings, signings, meetings, bookstores, literary festivals and more, all right here in Atlanta. In short, it’s about building and enhancing community among readers and writers here in our neighborhood. Reading Local has been enormously successful in other parts of the country. I’m going to do everything I can to accomplish the same thing here.

Reading Local is looking to expand our coverage to the Atlanta area.  If you are passionate about the Atlanta literary community, enjoy sharing information with others, approach projects with a creative mentality, and have the time to maintain a consistent schedule of posts, I hope you’ll get in touch.
